Capitol Day, March 2026

Voices for Change, supported by staff and Exceptional Adventures, headed to Harrisburg for the annual Capitol Day meeting with legislators. Voices for Change collaborated with Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellectual Disability (PAR) to address: increased funding for disability services; eliminating the waiting list for services; appropriate wages for Direct Support Professionals and more.

Our group met with the offices of Camera Bartolotta, Wayne Fontana, Tim O’Neal, Scott Hutchinson, Jason Ortitay and Devlin Robinson.

Press Conference Speakers included: Representative Eric Nelson; Representative Arvind Venkat; Representative Ann Flood; Senator Patty Kim; Dr. Kyle Kopko, Executive Director for the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP); and Carl Clark, CEO of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health and RCPA Board Chair.

We thank the lawmakers, advocates and other officials who made Capitol Day a success!
