AJ is a 23-year-old with a kind heart and a love of helping other people. He’s active in his community, working during the summer at EQT Park with the Washington Wild Things, volunteering with the Special Olympics, training for powerlifting competitions and even bowling! He loves to care for his animals at home, including his chickens and his pet dog, Noel. AJ loves to share eggs from his chickens with his friends. Between his job, his leadership position with the Special Olympics and his
responsibilities at his house, AJ’s schedule is often very busy!
Jody, AJ’s mom and Life Sharing Partner, shares why she chose life sharing and how it has helped AJ and their family:
“We love life sharing because it enables AJ to stay in his home and stay connected with his family. It also allows him to have his freedom to pursue all the activities and job opportunities he is interested in while learning life skills of caring for his home. “
