In September 2025, something truly meaningful took place. The sound of motorcycles filled the air, not just for a ride, but in support of Joey and Jayden.
Joey and Jayden are twin brothers living with MECP2 Duplication Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects brain development, causing challenges with mobility, communication and overall health.
Thanks to the kind-hearted K Dogs motorcycle brigade, a group of generous riders came by with gifts, smiles and a genuine interest in learning more about Joey and Jayden’s journey.
At the center of it all is their mom, Beth, a Life Sharing Partner in Citizen Care’s Medically Complex Conditions Life Sharing program. Every day, she works tirelessly to make sure her sons are included, empowered and given choices that help them express their voices.
From the roar of engines to warm embraces, the day was a beautiful reminder of how community and inclusion come together in powerful ways.
